The sculpture of the peat cutter in Ladbergen is a monument commemorating the history of seasonal workers. It honors the peat cutters and their particularly arduous work, which contributed to the development of Ladbergen. It serves as a reminder of the ancestors and the town's history marked by poverty.

The watermill, built in 1748, is located right in the center of the village of Ladbergen and consists of a smaller section on the south side and a larger, later-built section on the north side of the mill stream. Ralf Schloeffel The smaller, southern section of the mill, also known as the old "Lütke" or Frenking Mill, dates back to 1748 and was originally built as a Prussian state mill. It was therefore the property of the Prussian state during the reign of Frederick II, which explains the letters FR (Friedericus Rex) carved next to the year. Until the turn of the 20th century, the timber-framed building served as a gristmill and afterwards as a wheelwright's workshop. Today, the southern section houses a vacation apartment.

The Gasthaus zur Post (Post Inn) is located in the village center on Dorfstraße (Village Street). It is a large, half-timbered building dating back to the 18th century, which now serves as a hotel and restaurant. [Link opens dialog window] From September 1, 1871, until November 1918, the Gasthaus zur Post housed the Ladbergen post office, in addition to a restaurant and a bakery. The exterior of the 200-year-old building remains unchanged. Today, the Gasthaus zur Post is a hotel and restaurant known for its exceptionally good Westphalian cuisine.

The newer, northern section of the mill was built in 1890 to replace its demolished predecessor and was equipped with a then-novel turbine drive. This is what the WN newspaper wrote in 2024: "It's been more than five years since a group of energetic volunteers set out to fill the Catholic parish church of St. Christopher with culture beyond the church services. Offering concerts, lectures, readings, and other cultural events in this sacred space, which remains a liturgical one, is the concept behind the cultural church, explains the team, which is nine people and a great deal of commitment. Slowed down by the coronavirus pandemic, during which cultural life was on the back burner, even in the small Ladberg tent church, the women and men have gotten back on track and are presenting a program with several highlights for this year. ..."

The "Ladbergener Pättken" is a 3.3 km long, flat hiking trail in Ladbergen, mostly along the Mühlenbach stream and offering a mix of village and nature experiences. The route is suitable for families and leads through the Peace Park and past horse paddocks and bronze sculptures commemorating the Dutch pilgrims.
