The transformer station at the intersection of Möllner Straße and Heideweg in Büchen attracts attention. A lively and cheerful scene refers to the nearby forest swimming pool in Büchen. What is special: the bathers are a whole flock of small animals that have gathered there for a happy outing. Geese, storks, beavers and many more meet there, laden with picnic baskets, beach towels, handcarts and swimming rings. The facade painting, which spans all four walls, is a commissioned work by the company art-EFX, which has already individually worked on a large number of gray facades. The artistically forged sundial by Siegfried W. Balk stands on a paved area on Möllner Straße in Büchen. The work is reminiscent of a globe, the globe of which is shown in a greatly reduced size.
