The Bad Steben thermal baths are a wellness area with over 900 square meters of water surface, various saunas, and spacious outdoor facilities. They are open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. There is a bistro in the entrance area.

According to the antennas, a wide frequency spectrum is covered.

The owners of this farm were apparently inspired by the architectural style of the Viennese artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser (1928 to 2000). With the design of their façade, they too are resisting "the enslavement of humanity by the sterile grid system of architecture" and the "dictate of the straight line."

A total of 19 of the original 22 white lions can still be found in and around Bad Steben. These aren't real big cats, of course, but rather clay sculptures painted by artists and now resplendent in magnificent colors, like this lion in the spa gardens. The art project "Lion-Strong Bad Steben" ran in 2004.

The healing powers of the mineral spring in Steben have been known since the Middle Ages. The municipality has been a Royal Bavarian State Spa since 1832. The thermal spa originated from the former Jean-Paul-Bad. After the privatization of the state-owned spa facilities and transfer to Staatsbad Bad Steben GmbH, this bathhouse was remodeled and expanded, and reopened in December 2004 as "Therme Bad Steben." The water in the large bathing hall is 30 degrees Celsius, and the whirlpool reaches 36 degrees Celsius. In September 2007, the thermal spa's offerings were expanded to include the Wellness Dome. In a slate cave, visitors experience a day on the beach from sunrise to sunset in just one hour.

This "power spot" is located at the edge of the spa gardens. Small seating areas and a few stones are arranged in a circle around it. Everyone is welcome to try it out and see if it's good for them. Here, one can find peace, recharge, and recharge with strengthening earth energy.

The fortified church of St. Walburga was probably built as early as the 13th or 14th century; it is considered the original parish of the Steben market town and the region. The remains of the old Evangelical Lutheran parish church can still be found right next to the Lutheran Church. Only the choir remains of the fortified church, as its nave was demolished with the completion of the new church.

The Luther Church in Bad Steben was an architectural gem at the time of its construction. The material it was built from was only used for the second time in a church in Germany during its construction: reinforced concrete. With its slate slabs on the exterior surfaces, the red-tiled roofs, and the stone-decorated corners of the facade, the design reflects the Heimatstil (local style) that emerged in the 1870s. Its consecration took place on October 9, 1910, and it received its name even later.
