In addition to the exotic plant park directly at the Liliental farm, the arboretum features various small themed groves and experimental areas. I only visited a portion of these on my hike; one could certainly spend quite a bit of time here on the paths with their information panels.

A beautiful hollow path leading from the Liliental valley into the forest to the north. Numerous nesting holes can be seen in the loess walls, but I haven't encountered any bee-eaters in the forest.

At this spot, I could see bee-eaters nesting in caves on a loess wall from a distance. Unfortunately, I didn't have binoculars with me to observe the colorful birds.
