Old Moor and Nature Reserve

Beautiful little section of the cycle path along the limestone cliffs. You feel a bit like you are in Saxon Switzerland. This makes the short route interesting, varied and a real eye-catcher.

The castle in Kranichfeld is worth seeing. Between Dienstedt and Kranichfeld there is a rest area with an electrical connection and drinking water column.

Kleinbreitenbach is a district of the town of Plaue in the Ilm district (Thuringia) with around 300 inhabitants. The village is located in the Kleinbreitenbach basin, a valley between the Geratal in the west and the Reinsbergen in the east. The Kleinbreitenbach basin has a flora and fauna that is atypical for Thuringia, the basis of which is the above-average warm and dry shell limestone slopes.
