It was originally significantly larger (7.0 m × 3.0 m × 1.2 m), because at least two pieces were demolished in the early 19th century and used as building material. The burial chamber is approximately 10.0 m × 2.5 m in size and there is no evidence of a surround. The entrance, of which no stones have been preserved, was probably in the western part of the south side.

The megalithic tomb 935 (according to Sprockhoff) lies a few meters northwest of the "Visbek Bridegroom." The burial mound has been largely preserved in its original form. Two capstones of the chamber protrude from the top. The supporting stones are probably still embedded deep in the ground.
