Lake Eichbott is nestled in the Eichbott Valley between Leingarten and the Heuchelberger Warte. It is a popular local recreation area and the town's "green lung." Numerous regional hiking and cycling trails pass by the lake. The lakes are home to over 20 species of fish and a rich flora and fauna.

The fastest, but also most strenuous, route up to the Heuchelberger Warte. There are several seating areas along the way for a short rest, and the climb offers beautiful views of the Heilbronn region.

The quarry offers a fascinating insight into the reed sandstone formation that forms the Heuchelberg massif. The mining operations created a gorge-like section that stands out sharply from the otherwise rather uniform elevations of the Heuchelberg.
