A long staircase of irregular sandstone steps leads to this beautiful spot. At the top, you can sit in a small covered arbor, enjoy the view, and listen to the babbling brook. Many thanks to everyone who cares for and maintains this place.

The Schleusentreff in Kochendorf is a cozy place right by the lock, perfect for a break during a bike ride or hike. There are cool drinks, small snacks and a relaxed atmosphere. A great spot to watch the lock activity and enjoy the surroundings!
