Although the trail's highest point, a 40-metre-high lookout tower, stays a good distance from the sky, it offers a wide view over the rolling heathland. When the weather is good, you can even see the cranes in the port of Hamburg.

The treetop path is definitely worth a visit. Either just to stand above things and let your gaze wander from the 40m high tower or to learn a lot of interesting facts along the way at various stations.

Very nice treetop path. There are knowledge stations along the path that provide information about a wide variety of natural topics. The view from the tower is great.
