Beautiful, quiet beach... the closer you get to the lighthouse, the rockier it becomes.

A beautiful path right along the cliffs... if you prefer, you can also walk directly along the water... You can see the green and white lighthouse from afar and enjoy magnificent views of the water.

Even more natural is the Bottsand nudist beach, just a few hundred meters away, between the bird sanctuary and the Heidkate. The small village itself consists of a few pleasant-looking houses. Here, as everywhere in Schwedeneck, guests can feel at home and are warmly welcomed.

Fields line the high, steep bank, from which hikers descend to the beach via a long staircase. Depending on the season, visitors are simultaneously immersed in a sea of plant color and yet directly on the Baltic Sea.

Toward Stohl, the steep bank becomes increasingly higher, the view increasingly open; on a clear day, walkers can even glimpse Danish islands. Here, Eckernförde Bay and Kiel Fjord meet, and the further you walk toward Kiel, the clearer the view becomes of the opposite side of the fjord, with the Laboe Memorial. Many ships pass by here, just about to pass through or having left the Kiel Canal, and numerous large passenger ships begin their journey from Kiel to Scandinavia.
