The trail still exists, but not as marked. It's certainly good if you want to and can jump. However, the jumps are difficult to avoid, so there's not much flow to be had without jumping. Hochstein or Karmelenberg are more fun in that regard.

A beautiful, narrow, natural trail located directly on the Rhine and below the railway between Hammerstein and Leutesdorf. Especially after extended periods of rain or thaws, it can be a bit muddy... In the summer, the path is a bit more overgrown... - but with appropriate clothing, it's easily manageable. We were here in the fall and simply loved the changing foliage, walking in wonderful peace and quiet, and enjoying the Rhine panorama. 💚Every stressed soul can truly find peace here 💚. A changing scene in every season 🍃🍁🍂🌞.

A narrow path between Hammerstein and Leutesdorf. With access to the Rhine, a rocky bank, boat docks, and fishing spots, the path is uneven and somewhat overgrown, but easy to walk and offers beautiful scenery.

Highly recommended for mountain bikers. If you're coming from there, you'll be familiar with these spots, especially during the pilgrimage season.

Slightly technical, a nice trail. Don't be put off by the S3 rating.

If you don't like stairs, you should look for another way (or push a few meters). Otherwise beautiful.

Went there on a gravel bike - that doesn't go on the trail at all! ;) But certainly interesting for experienced mountain bikers. Meanwhile, I have been writing and enjoying the beautiful forest...

awesome single trail, but with a slippery section on rocks. Careful, I fell there!
