Landmark in the west of Hamm. In contrast to the neighboring Kissinger Höhe spoil heap, there is hardly any vegetation. Therefore, there is a great view.

Depending on which way you drive up the slag heap, you could call it a mountain. At the top, the view makes up for it if the weather is reasonably good.

Lots of wrongly positioned pictures 😔 So, what's here? From the main path, it goes a few meters uphill to an obviously newly renovated, small "hut without a roof", but with a few benches and a free telescope into the Lippe meadows. Although I hardly saw any animals with or without binoculars, the flora is wonderful, it's a sunny spot and - still??? - extremely clean and well-kept. It's hardly known anymore, so that was all the more positive. It's also suitable as a rest area - it would be so great if it remained unmarked and in such great condition!
