Flow trail, marked as S2 S3. The actual trail is S2, an optional black section that can be bypassed in blue. Steep but not scary, always flowing and always with ground under the wheels. No technical passages, no rough stones, no roots, no obstacles, just flow. Definitely suitable for beginners. Beginners in the sense of riders who have already sat on a MTB but have no experience with bike parks. This is the ideal first trail, also because there is hardly anything going on. 100% S2 fun. Ideal for eMTB: 400m elevation, 15 minutes up on a mostly gentle incline, 10 minutes down. From the campsite exactly 1 hour for 2x up/down there and back. Battery is enough for 3 rides.

Part of one of the most beautiful bike parks in Trentino, the Furcia Trail is a challenge even for those who have traveled many descents on a mountain bike. Although it is never irregular, it has around 120 curves and is really fun even for those with less experience. Its start is well signposted and not far from the Messner Mountain Museum at Plan de Corones.

Unfortunately a very crowded area. We were there in September and the full parking spaces upstairs are off-putting. In the high season it is not possible to drive up by car. As soon as you move away from the main paths, it becomes quieter. In particular, the plateau next to the Strudelkopf is quiet and not as crowded as the summit itself. From the meadows on the plateau you can see the Three Peaks, the Rienz Valley in front of it and the gigantic mountain world of the Dolomites.

The Herrnsteig is the oldest freeride trail in South Tyrol. Incredibly long, incredibly demanding and uniquely curvy. Destroying 1,300 vertical meters over a length of 8.4 km is something special. In the upper part, the trail is really fun with easy jumps, berms and fast crossings. The view of the main Alpine ridge in the north and the wide Pustertal valley, 1,300 meters below, is gigantic! As soon as you reach the forest, it becomes more playful. Small jumps, narrower berms, drops and steep passages are sometimes more reminiscent of a natural trail than a built freeride route. Nevertheless, the classic descent still allows a lot of flow! Steep curves, root passages, whole rows of drops lying one behind the other and trees standing close together - very demanding and varied!
