Beautiful pass to observe the entire plain and its lakes

If desired, there is also the climb to the Torretta nearby.

It's a magical place! Beautiful, with a panorama dominated by the Rosa massif and the Matterhorn!

colletto Rueglio side the climb from here to the top includes two climbs which in my opinion involve a lot of portage and between them a pedalable plateau, for the descent the easiest on the Rueglio side is towards the houses below which can be seen from the coletto, or towards Colletto Bossola you have to walk a fairly wide traverse all downhill but with several loose stones

It is located at the highest point of a GTA path that connects Piamprato to Campiglia Soana (also passing by the sanctuary of San Besso). Therefore it is possible to make the crossing starting from one side or the other. I started from Piamprato, and on a sign it said that if you get off at Campiglia, there is a summer bus that takes you back to Piamprato, without the need to have 2 cars.

Easy to reach from Dondena or Miserin via a trail (8C - Difficulty E). Starting point from the EE ascent of Mont Glacier (8C) via a stony ground. Next to the radiant blue and enchanting Lac Gelé.
