The "Julia" lighthouse-sacled monument stands at an altitude of 885 m in the Bernadia mountains, and was built by the Alpine troops of the Tarcento district, led by their president, Lieutenant Colonel Enrico Mattighello, to commemorate the fallen in war with its tricolour lighthouse.

A wonder to visit

Very beautiful panoramic point, with the clear air you can glimpse the glow of the sea!

There is also a short suggestive and hidden route that leads behind Lazzacco

on clear days ... sea view !!!!

A peak that is not very demanding to reach but at the same time magnificent and panoramic.

It is a fine surviving example of the once widespread peat bogs in the hilly area of Friuli and destroyed during the agricultural reclamation carried out in the last one century. The importance and good conservation of the habitats are confirmed by the presence of botanical species included in the Red List for Italy of entities at risk of extinction. If the fauna to mammals and birds, due to the limited areas involved, covers relative interest, the amphibian and reptile fauna is instead well represented.
