If you do it on foot, suitable shoes, path for many but not for everyone

Not too difficult but you need to be quite fit and it's a long way up to the top.

In Sappada, don't miss the Piave Springs, located at 1,830 meters in the Sesis Valley, at the foot of Mount Peralba. Hikes to various peaks depart from here. The area, accessible to all, offers stunning Alpine landscapes, flower-filled pastures, and trails through nature and history.

Lot of ascent, some experience is needed

Good physical condition, hiking boots, and don't forget: This is alpine terrain. Don't overestimate it. This should become clear just by looking at the terrain. You are just a small cog in the larger picture, and only a tiny part of it. Nature, or rather, creation, can be quite merciless against arrogance and doesn't readily forgive mistakes. Those who keep this in mind will have unadulterated enjoyment of the breathtaking nature and landscape, and, beyond that, an unforgettable hike or mountain bike ride.

Small church dedicated to the owners of the old refuge of the Laghi d'Olbe now completely destroyed. Open 24 hours a day, it offers an excellent shelter on days with the coldest temperatures and some interesting photographic perspectives for the most passionate.

Lake Wolayersee lies at approximately 1,950 meters and is surrounded by several peaks with steep rock faces. The lake has no inflow; its water comes from rainfall and melting snow. On the lakeshore, the Wolayersee Hut, a mountain refuge belonging to the Austrian Alpine Club, offers accommodations and meals.
