Everyone wants to take the perfect photo, but you can only do that if you're lucky - when the sun is shining, it's not raining and the summit is clear of clouds. We were lucky and we're over the moon!

The reservoir was completed in 1958. It has an arched wall with a length of 610 m and a height of 148 m. The volume of the barrier is 815,000 m3, the storage volume is 78 million m3 and the surface of the lake is 140 hectares. and a length of 2.4 km. In conjunction with the other reservoirs in the region, the lake is used exclusively to generate electricity. (Source: Viking Voyage)

The emblematic Lac Bleu d'Arolla is an ideal place for a run. Winding alpine trails lead you through classic alpine pastures, over interesting and varied running terrain. The deep blue waters of the lake are a popular destination for tourists and hikers, offering excellent views of the valley and mountains, creating an archetypal Swiss scene.
