Rock walls up to 100 meters high, some of them overhanging, line the gorge. Even in summer it is pleasantly cool and shady. The path leads past caves and washouts. There are several fire pits where you can fortify yourself with a picnic. The entrance is directly at the Herbetswil Wolfsschlucht bus stop. Parking is available in the village center of Herbetswil.
