The Obere Wechten mountain inn is located at an altitude of 1,020 meters on the southern Jura slope of the Passwang ridge in the Thal Nature Park and offers a breathtaking view of the Alpine chain. The cozy inn focuses on regional products and impresses with homemade giant meringues. With 12 rooms and 63 beds, it is ideal for family celebrations, weddings or seminars. A highlight of the area is the Felswegli, which is particularly beautiful in autumn and leads to the Wasserfallen cable car.

Shortly in front of the hut there is a toilet block, which is also open when the hut is closed.

The forest hut has a few benches for a short rest and, above all, a waste bin where you can properly dispose of the packaging of the bars, gels or similar. If you turn around while standing in front of the forest hut, you have a fantastic view of the other ridges of the Chain Jura. Therefore, this point on the route is not only interesting because of the forest hut.

The Hohe Winde ski hut is served on weekends from May to December. The cozy ambience invites you to linger, eat, drink, chat, play or spend the night after a short or longer hike or mountain bike tour. The view over the Jura from the ski hut is absolutely worth it.
