A pleasant pond path in Neugersdorf leads to beautiful ponds: Blattbinderteich, Mittelteich, and Kirchteich. Information: Blattbinderteich: 1.70 ha. Mittelteich: 0.4 ha. Kirchteich: 0.5 ha.

The Teichweg is a footpath to the Neugersdorf fish ponds very close to the church. That's why the easternmost one is also called the church pond. In the middle of this pond there is a heron figure. There are always several mallard ducks waiting to be fed on the church pond. There is a small playground between the church pond and the central pond. The Blattbinderteich is the largest and is where you can see, for example, the double-towered Maria Hilf Basilica in Filipov (Philippsdorf), Czech Republic.

The water surfaces of the 3 ponds in the forest just before the reservoir in Sohland were almost invisible today because they were covered over and over with fallen leaves. A very natural place.

Very nicely designed playground and of course the restaurant right on the water with a rental station for water treaders is a good addition in the season. You can sit inside and outside and have a wonderful view of the reservoir.
