There are a few very beautiful high-altitude trails here with views over Kempten, which can be easily combined with one of the Tobelwege, Kalbsangst- or Kniebostobel.

The Mulzer pine, as it was formerly called after a pilot from the First World War, was struck by lightning in the 1980s. Because it was believed that the tree would not survive, a new one was planted next to it. The tree survived nonetheless and you can still see the marks on the bark.

Since December 2024, the inn has been run by "Just & Ela". The food is delicious, the service is good 🙂.
