This Catholic church is stunning because of its subtle use of gold decorations. Besides the church in Nesselwang, it's one of the most beautiful in the Allgäu region. Go inside; it's well worth it. You should really look at my pictures, as I'm not sure how else to describe the church.

It's great to see well-preserved historical buildings like this. Worth stopping to see it if you enjoy architecture.

Hall church from 1480. Tower already built 1451-1456 as a choir tower with a gable roof

Approaching the ruins from Fleschützen, it was quite unsatisfying. Access to the inner castle is blocked, and the surrounding walls are overgrown. It's impossible to get a clear view. The ruins are apparently neglected and have been left to their natural state. The sign also suggests this. A shame.

Lovely Views and clear water

In addition to the animals, there is also a fantastic view of the mountains here. Roughly from the Upper Allgäu mountains to the left over the Zugspitze with the Austrian Ausserfern and the Eastern Allgäu mountains.

Nice moderate climb with little traffic from Günzach to Aitrang. Great way to bypass the main road between Günzach and Kraftisried 😎👌

Very nice cycle path with a fantastic view of the Rottachsee. While you roll, you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
