A new building was built in the 1970s, which enabled year-round operation. In 2012, the hut had to be demolished as part of the “Wertach Vital” project, but was rebuilt and reopened in 2013. Today, the Kulperhütte offers a varied menu with regional and often organic-certified dishes. In addition to classic beer garden specialties such as white sausage and sausage salad, there are also vegetarian and vegan options such as halloumi sandwiches and falafel with hummus. The beer garden is a popular meeting place for walkers and cyclists who want to enjoy the natural surroundings. In summer, live music events are held regularly, creating a special atmosphere. The Kulperhütte is a lively gem on the Wertach and stands for respectful treatment of people, animals and the environment.
