EuroVelo 9a is part of the EuroVelo 9 route, which connects the Baltic Sea with the Adriatic Sea and crosses six countries: Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia and Italy1. EuroVelo 9a is the section that runs through Austria, from the border with the Czech Republic to the border with Slovenia. It is about 480 km long and leads through picturesque landscapes of vineyards, castles and thermal baths.
