Descent from the gravel road down to Roßthal; on some rough sections, you pass a fish pond with a quaint little hut.

This Wolfsteinalm is located in the forest between Wolfstein and Ottosau. It looks a bit overgrown and is not managed.

Coming from below you can still get to the hut. But then it's more or less the end. Unless you clear the way yourself. Everything is overgrown.

It would actually be helpful if the path continued. Everything is now overgrown. I then had to work hard to clear the path.

The path from the top down to the hut is a complete disaster. We were there on May 25th, 2024 and had to walk through meter-high nettles. The rest of the path was so overgrown that we took a wrong turn and ended up not even at the hut, but walking "opposite" on the slope. I have no idea what the path looks like from below, but it was enough for us. I'm not usually picky and love adventurous paths, but this really wasn't nice.
