As of February 26th, 2022:
Significant storm damage on the way up to the hut. Path officially closed. There are many trees across. Possible from below on foot and with a bike in hand. From above only possible on foot.
A thick tree lies across the hut and has damaged the roof. All supporting beams are undamaged. Access to the hut is officially closed.

Nevertheless, the hut is ideal for overnight stays. Very quiet location by the rushing brook.
In the hut space for a night's sleep - if necessary two because the too short table is screwed tight. Several people can spend the night under the canopy. Possibly drafty when it's windy.

This is what the shelter looks like now. (A tree has fallen into the roof above) What a pity. As we hiked along the path, dozens of trees had fallen and we had to scramble up and down several times. So be careful if you want to walk the path at the moment, you have to reckon with major impairment. As of January 23.
