We had the pleasure of taking a guided tour of the castle today. It was very interesting, and the guide was very entertaining and funny. The rooms are beautiful, with so much to admire and see. From the armory, library, study, fountain, chapel, anecdotes, photos, and a short musical interlude, there was even more to see. But I don't want to give everything away 😉. In any case, the visit was well worth it and very entertaining. The castle tour lasted over an hour. Photography is prohibited in the private rooms.

Very idyllically located in the middle of the forest. It is best to check opening times online at 95448 Eckersdorf.

Current opening hours: Wednesday – Friday 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Saturday 2:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Sunday 11:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Very nicely located beer garden with beer benches (some with backrests), but also tables with chairs; Usual selection of drinks (beer, soft drinks, but hardly any wine), a few dishes are also offered (curry sausage, schnitzel...); Self-service, staff very friendly; Inside also very nicely furnished, clean and attractive

Great location, above Veilbronn, with a view of the valley. The steep path leads up stairs from Veilbronn. Next to the Naturfreundehaus is the climbing garden.

Great trail suitable for the whole family. The nature is just wonderful and you can enjoy the peace and quiet.
