フランコニアンスイスの山小屋＆キャビン・トップ20

ザンガーヘウスヒェンは、ブルクベルク（南斜面）にある、小さな岩の小道を通ってアクセスできる特徴的な展望ポイントで、70年代初頭まで合唱団や市営オーケストラの「舞台」として利用されていました。そこからポッテンシュタインの遥か上空で定期的にコンサートが開催されていました。標高445メートルにあるこの小屋は、ポッテンシュタイン郷土史保存会に属していました。1949年に、ポッテンシュタインの山岳救助隊に「避難小屋の使用権」が認められました。1955年に、山岳救助隊は反対側の向かいに新しい小屋を建設しました。1999年に、避難小屋は山岳救助隊によって再建されました。2024年に再び新築が必要となりました。これは郷土史保存会によって行われました。旧市街、ブライテンシュタイン、プリュルスライテ、ケッペルプラッツ、そしてピュトラッハタールとマリアタールへの素晴らしいパノラマビューが、登山者の登頂を報います。

We had the pleasure of taking a guided tour of the castle today. It was very interesting, and the guide was very entertaining and funny. The rooms are beautiful, with so much to admire and see. From the armory, library, study, fountain, chapel, anecdotes, photos, and a short musical interlude, there was even more to see. But I don't want to give everything away 😉. In any case, the visit was well worth it and very entertaining. The castle tour lasted over an hour. Photography is prohibited in the private rooms.

Beautiful little serviced hiking hut

Very idyllically located in the middle of the forest. It is best to check opening times online at 95448 Eckersdorf.

Current opening hours: Wednesday – Friday 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Saturday 2:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Sunday 11:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Beautiful traditional restaurant with a great beer garden in the middle of the forest. The kitchen is Franconian modern. Guests are treated to hearty snacks and delicious pan-fried dishes. On Sunday lunchtime, roast meat is a must. On certain special days, the newly built bakery and smokehouse smell of fresh Waldhütte bread and fish. The Waldhütte menu offers a wide variety of fresh and regional dishes - including vegetarian and vegan.

Get a drink from the counter and sit down at one of the beer tables. Unpack the snack you brought with you and enjoy the break during your hike. There are places in the sun and in the shade... for every taste 😉. A nice stop while hiking 👍🏼
