A real highlight for mountain bikers in the Franconian Forest. Due to the low gradient, the trail can also be ridden uphill without any problems. The time required for the almost 10km total route should not be underestimated because of the sections that are prepared in places by forestry machines and the frequent crossings of the stream over sometimes dilapidated bridges with steps. In between there is the beer fountain for refueling 🍺.

Water and rocks are a beautiful combination here. The view of the Steinachtal is wonderful.

This special natural monument was created thousands of years ago. The Steinach River ate deeper and deeper through an extremely hard volcanic rock, which is called “quartz keratophyre”. The Steinachklamm geotope with its steep slopes and the narrow section of the gorge south of Wildenstein is definitely worth seeing.

A highlight are the many fords that we always like to drive.

A nice round can also be done with children, not too steep and always ways to lengthen or shorten

The special treat are the many creek crossings on well paved fords. If the water level is too high, an additional jetty is usually available.
