A real highlight for mountain bikers in the Franconian Forest. Due to the low gradient, the trail can also be ridden uphill without any problems. The time required for the almost 10km total route should not be underestimated because of the sections that are prepared in places by forestry machines and the frequent crossings of the stream over sometimes dilapidated bridges with steps. In between there is the beer fountain for refueling 🍺.

The Froschbachtal is located in the eastern Franconian Forest in the district of Hof and stretches from the towns of Thierbach and Bobengrün via Christusgrün and Dürnberg to the town of Froschbach. The special treat are the many creek crossings on well paved fords. If the water level is too high, an additional jetty is usually available.

The ride in the Kremnitztalgrund from the Dobertal junction to the Finkenmühle is an absolute must for all mountain bikers. A footbridge is available as an alternative for most stream crossings. However, in damp conditions in the transitional season or when water levels are high, it may be advisable to choose the alternative route, which runs parallel in the forest and is halfway up the slope.
