The red markers could be much (also on other walks) more clearly red and in my opinion there should be more! Despite Komoot I went wrong several times and experienced scary moments when I walked along the abyss a few times! Eventually I went back and looked at the beach on the other side from above and that is amazing!

A wonderful place in an exceptional location and the climb to the Venetian fortress is possible on a well-maintained path or on winding paths. Even if there is not much left of the fortress, you can still get a good idea of its enormous size.

A wonderful place in an exceptional location and the ascent to the Venetian fortress is possible on a well-maintained path or on winding paths. At the beginning of the well-maintained path, it is worth taking a detour to a mini beach with a small cave (with access to the sea).

The walk here involves a marked path down through scrub and forest - a little steep in places, and decent footwear really is essential. Then, however, an utterly enchanting view of Fteri beach emerges before you dip below the trees again. The beach itself is pristine. Startlingly white chalk pebbles make for a semi-soft texture demanding sunglasses and suspension of disbelief - the crystal blue waters make for an unreal scene. Likely not to be busy due to the access (at least not outside of the peak season) you may even have it all to yourself if you are lucky.
