Former mill, now idyllically developed house. wikipedia: The Duhnemühle is a water mill in Negenborn in the Holzminden district in Lower Saxony. In the High Middle Ages, the property was owned by the Counts of Everstein and then fell to the Amelungsborn monastery. Later the mill was destroyed but rebuilt in the 18th century. The roof is covered with Solling slabs. The name comes from the desolate neighboring town of Dune. Above the door is the C coat of arms of the former Brunswick owner. In 1906 the mill hit the headlines when the flour was contaminated with lead after improper millstone repairs. The mill is a listed building and is located on Niedersächsische Mühlenstraße.
