After visiting the viewpoint, you can head to the centre of Ordino to explore this charming village, known for its traditional architecture, museums and rich history. The Casa d'Areny-Plandolit, a museum that shows the life of a noble Andorran family, is a must-see.

The refuge can accommodate around 50 people, distributed in several rooms with bunk beds. Unlike many mountain refuges in Andorra, the Sorteny Refuge is a manned refuge, which means it has services such as hot meals, drinks, and showers. They also provide blankets and mattresses, but it is recommended to bring a light sleeping bag or sleeping bag. The refuge has a small restaurant where you can enjoy typical mountain dishes, made with local products. It is a perfect stop to replenish energy after a hike.

One of the best refuges I have visited, very clean facilities, if you want you can have lunch, they have a very correct menu. Very well equipped terrace to rest in the shade, with spectacular views of Parc de Sorteny. We arrived by taking a nice walk with the children from the Zone where you can leave the car.

A small but charming stone bridge over the Río Valira d'Orient (north) on the valley route that connects the towns of El Serrat and Llorts.
