A visit to the village of Alt Rehse is worthwhile. There are many beautiful, well-kept houses and gardens.

Monument commemorating the war of 1870/71. It was donated in 1890 by the clubs of the town of Penzlin.

Impressive all around and everything inside is open, it's definitely worth a visit.

Small but impressive and above all very well maintained, we really enjoyed the visit.

It's really funny, you have to look closely to discover all the "gags".

Brilliant church, all the rooms are open. So you can not only see the church itself, but also take a look behind the scenes, really worthwhile.

Historical place Learning place At first glance, the village of Alt Rehse, idyllically situated on Lake Tollense, is not that obvious. But behind this small place lies a dark history. In 1935, the Nazis opened a facility there that was unique in the entire German Reich: the "Führerschule der Deutschen Ärzteschaft". But that's not all. A National Socialist model village was built around the school, the construction of which was intended to represent a "nationalistic" ideal of a "German village community".
