The Ueckermünde Zoo is known far beyond the borders of the Vorpommern-Greifswald district. The facility was founded in 1962 and has continued to develop since then. In addition to the animal enclosures, you can also learn about farming many decades ago at the zoo and on the adventure farm, and little adventurers can enjoy a ride on the old tractors. A replica of a fully functional Dutch windmill can also be seen in the zoo. The zoo is easy to get to and has plenty of free parking, including for buses. Opening times: The zoo is open 363 days a year from 10:00 a.m. The zoo is only closed on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.
