The Itritzhütte is beautifully surrounded by forest. It is open on all sides, but the roof still offers protection from the rain. There are a few picnic benches right next to it.

The lime kilns, a registered industrial monument, were important for the industrial development of the Oderbruch.

The memorial was created in 2000 by the Japanese sculptor Tatsuhika and the German Axel Anklam. It is intended to remind us of humanity, as the Japanese doctor Dr. Nobutsugu sacrificed himself here for typhus sufferers after the Second World War and died of the disease himself in 1946.

The Stadtsee is located directly on the B167 northwest of Wriezen. This approx. 1.0 hectare pond used to collect the driving water for the mill wheel of the malt mill across the street and was also used for fish farming. The malt mill was already built in 1524. At that time, it was intended exclusively for grinding malt for the Wriezen brewers. This is where the name, which is still engraved above the entrance door, comes from.

No idea why it was built on top of the mountain. The place is rather unsuitable as a vantage point. The rise (stairs) looks catastrophic.
