The current Neuenhagen Community Center opened in June 2011 as a modern cultural and event center, continuing the tradition of the former Volkshaus (formerly the Wolter Inn). The site once housed the Wolter Inn, which was converted into the Volkshaus between 1953 and 1955. From 1984 to 1990, it served as the district cultural center, and from 1991 onward as the community center. After many years of structural deficiencies and changing tenants, the old building was demolished starting in April 2010. The building also houses the Anna Ditzen Library, the privately run restaurant "Morstein's," and, in the basement, a four-lane bowling alley for recreational and club use.

Elisenhof was first documented in 1837 as an outlying farm belonging to the Bollensdorf manor. The first farm buildings were constructed by the end of the 19th century. The decisive phase began in 1923: the outlying farm was dissolved and divided into six farms. Despite economic hardship, the new settlers helped build important facilities in Bollensdorf, including a school and a children's home. Many families showed great solidarity and, for example, took in Russian godchildren during the Second World War. By 1927, Elisenhof already had 35 inhabitants, and the children attended school in Bollensdorf. In 1929, Elisenhof became a district of Neuenhagen. After 1946, as part of the land reform, land was redistributed and farmsteads were divided. In 1960, the farmers joined together to form the "Elisenhof" Agricultural Production Cooperative (LPG), which was dissolved in 1968; agriculture was then taken over by regional cooperatives and farms. After 1989/90, former owners received their land back, which is mostly leased out. Since the 1990s, former agricultural cooperative buildings have been converted into residential properties.

As part of the planning for the (partial) double-track expansion of the S-Bahn line to Strausberg, the need for a second S-Bahn bridge over the A10 motorway is also being examined. The states of Berlin and Brandenburg secured funding for further planning in 2021. The S5 East project is part of the first financing tranche ( https://www.i2030.de/berlin-und-brandenburg-finanzieren-planungskosten-fuer-verbesserungen-im-berliner-s-bahnnetz/ ). This is part of the collective agreement for bottleneck elimination for the S-Bahn network, which finances the planning for all approximately 35 measures planned for the Berlin S-Bahn within the framework of i2030. The funding from the states will enable the planning to advance to performance phase 4 – the approval planning phase. An overview of all planning phases and their content can be found at https://www.i2030.de/hintergrund/%23planungsphasen.

A school in Neuenhagen is first mentioned in the chronicle in 1716 in connection with a certificate of appointment for the sexton and teacher Jacobus Flöricke. The sexton's house at that time also served as a school. It was destroyed by fire in 1810 and replaced two years later by a half-timbered building with a tiled roof, which contained a schoolroom for all the children of the village in addition to the sexton's apartment.wikipedia

The church in the village of Neuenhagen was built around 1250 (according to other sources, only in the 14th century) as an early Gothic fieldstone church with a transverse tower and a gable roof on the nave. It is located on the village green in Carl-Schmäcke-Straße. It was probably Cistercian monks from Münchehofe (Mönchshof) who built a "Neuenhof" as a branch and church village. In addition to the tower core, the lancet windows on the east gable from the time of construction have been preserved. The church was first mentioned in writing in the land register of Emperor Charles IV in 1375. The tower was renovated around 1500. The west portal was added at the same time. wikepedia
