Deutsch Wagram Station, a true treasure in Lower Austria, is not just a through station but also a piece of history. With its ancient walls, it is one of the oldest stations in the country. Three listed buildings stand on the site: the impressive reception building, the old water station, and the workers' waiting room, where many day-trippers once waited for their train. Here, you can sense the tradition and charm of the past – a place that tells the stories of times long past. A real eye-catcher for anyone who passes through!

Just get out of the city and walk a bit.

The small but nice railway museum is located right next to the train station in Deutsch-Wagram.

Beautiful path along the Rußbach

I have lived in this area for a long time and enjoyed walking around and was amazed at how nature has reclaimed its land. Unfortunately, the entire ÖBB Arsenal (the siding that is still in use) was cleared and the biotope was blocked. The small bathing pond in Süßenbrunn is a wonderful natural bathing area with large lawns, shady trees and warm water. Even dogs are allowed here and can also cool off in their own area.
