El Centro de Interpretação Ambiental da Pedra do Sal (CIAPS) es un espacioódico a la educación ambiental y a la divulgación del patrimonio natural de la costa de Cascais, ubicado en São Pedro do Estoril, junto a la Área Marinha Protegida das Avencas.

The "Whale Dive" sculpture is an iconic work located on the Oeiras Seafront, next to Torre Beach, in the Lisbon district. It depicts a whale's tail emerging from the ground, as if the animal were diving into the ocean. Its deep blue color makes it stand out visually from the coastal environment. It was created by the artist Augusto Cid and inaugurated in 2001.

The Oeiras Marina (Porto de Recreio de Oeiras) is a modern and well-equipped marina located at the mouth of the Tagus River, on the coast of Oeiras, very close to Lisbon. The Pedra do Sal Environmental Interpretation Centre is a space dedicated to promoting the values of Natural Heritage and its relevance in the development of the place, since the beginning, even before human existence. With a privileged location in São Pedro do Estoril, the building was designed as a showcase facing the coastline and the sea.
