The boardwalks are in good condition and mostly have handrails, which are occasionally welcome in stronger winds, even on level ground. These boardwalks allow crossings without negatively impacting the unique dune landscape. This is a good solution for balancing coastal and nature conservation with tourism and the enjoyment of hiking and nature.

🚨⚓️Old Cross-Marker Lighthouse – Historic Landmark Above the Cliff Although it is no longer active, the small, red lighthouse offers a great photo spot and is an important orientation point for hikers on the dune trail.

🌅🔴 The Rotes Kliff viewpoint is one of the most famous spots on Sylt and offers the most breathtaking view of the North Sea. The cliff stretches between Wenningstedt and Kampen and is particularly known for its rust-red hues, especially at sunset.
