Church of Our Lady on the Mountain in Penig. Information: A late Gothic church. Initially a branch church, the construction of the new late Gothic town church began in 1476 with the tall, square tower in the northwest corner. The exterior of the nave, built of plastered rubble stone, was completed in 1499; the interior was left without pillars and vaults. The church was consecrated in 1515.
