    Today's classicist Waldenburg Castle is a jewel of its stylistic era. The conversion to this unique ensemble from a previous building took place between 1909 and 1912. The Waldenburg, which gave it its origins, dates back to the 13th century.

          Waldenburg Castle actually stands out from the crowd of palaces and fortresses in the area with its simple concept. It has an eventful past before it was used commercially and became the film castle it is now, there is an exhibition in the basement, it was a lung clinic. Now it has restored rooms without large furniture and, as already mentioned, is used as a backdrop for international / national film productions. I liked it very much.

              Must see!!! - this beautifully renovated castle. Considering how run down it was and how it had been misused for years. All attention!!! It may not be to everyone's taste, but I love mansions like this.
              It is also very popular as a film set.
