バルクハウゼンの恐竜の足跡は、オスナブリュック郡のニーダーザクセン州のバート・エッセン自治体の地区であるフンテ川沿いのバルクハウゼンにあるリンナー・ベルクの廃止された採石場にある自然記念物です。約1億5000万年前（キンメリッジアン中期）の岩石の層状表面には、後期ジュラ紀（マルム）の竜脚類と獣脚類の恐竜の化石の足跡（化石の足跡の連続）が露出しています。

Construction of the bridge originally began in 1934 but was halted due to World War II and never resumed. Following German reunification, redesign commenced in 1993, and the bridge was inaugurated on October 10, 2003.
