A fairytale path along the Elz river.

The Fohberghütte, located on the 240-meter-high mountain of the same name, is a roofed wooden structure with a seating area protected by wooden walls, equipped with a table and benches. In addition to the view of the village of Bahlingen, it offers magnificent views of the Breisgau region and other villages, and beyond, the striking mountains of the High Black Forest. Nearby is the Bahlingen Water Reservoir, home to the "Mythical Triad" figurine group by the Bahlingen sculptor Michael Schwarze, which is visible from the hut.

Unfortunately, you can no longer sit in the wine barrel because the rest area has been littered. Nevertheless, it's a very nice place to rest and enjoy the view and the vineyards.

From the Heibererfelsen there is a wonderful view of the Kandelbergland and the Elztal.

From the eastern slope of the Kandel, the beautiful forest path offers the opportunity to look through the trees at the wonderful Black Forest valley landscapes.

Rock formation located directly on the hiking trail with a beautiful view. However, caution is advised here as there is no protection from the abyss.

Very nice wine tavern with delicious food and good wine. Highly recommended
