From the platform with the artistically designed sculptures you have a great view of the town of Bahlingen. But the panorama of the Black Forest can also be clearly seen from here, especially when the weather is good.

The Fohberghütte, located on the 240-meter-high mountain of the same name, is a roofed wooden structure with a seating area protected by wooden walls, equipped with a table and benches. In addition to the view of the village of Bahlingen, it offers magnificent views of the Breisgau region and other villages, and beyond, the striking mountains of the High Black Forest. Nearby is the Bahlingen Water Reservoir, home to the "Mythical Triad" figurine group by the Bahlingen sculptor Michael Schwarze, which is visible from the hut.
