You practically need a machete to get through and protect yourself from the nettles, some of which are as tall as a man. Of course, it's a paradise for wildlife 👍

The remaining raised bog in front of the North Sea coastal dike near Sehestedt is unique in the world. Only when extreme storm or hurricane tides in Sehestedt reach more than 1.70 meters above mean high tide does the more than 3-meter-thick "moor island" begin to float, hence the term "floating bog."
