Extensions to the building and a uniform interior of the church were added at the beginning of the 20th century and a half-timbered building from the 18th century was removed. Even today, regular services are held in the small church. The bell that is then rung for the service dates back to 1680 and was cast by Hans Voss from Lüneburg.
