The small ponds that you discover during the tour through the park are a beautiful sight with their water lilies and offer a perfect opportunity for a short rest. The route along the ponds is a feast for the senses. The blooming water lilies stretch over the water like a colorful carpet, while the tranquil atmosphere and natural beauty of the surroundings invite you to relax. It is a place where you can really unwind and enjoy nature in all its glory. The Müritz National Park is a place of peace and natural beauty. Riding on the bike paths right along the water, past the water lilies, is an unforgettable experience. The platforms along the way offer wonderful views and are ideal for taking in the scenery and maybe even taking a few photos. Another highlight is the Käflingsberg Tower, which offers a breathtaking view over the entire national park. From here you can admire all the beauty of the Müritz and its surrounding moors and forests.

The Müritz, the largest inland lake in northern Germany, is a true paradise for every cyclist and nature lover. Its Slavic name, which means "small sea", says it all: the vastness and beauty of the lake are breathtaking. The cycle path around the Müritz leads me through diverse landscapes - from bee and butterfly meadows to forests where sea eagles and buzzards circle. The rippling of the water accompanies me on my tour as I enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Part of the eastern shore of the Müritz belongs to the Müritz National Park, a true treasure for anyone who wants to explore nature by bike or on foot. The well-developed cycle paths lead sometimes closer, sometimes further away from the shore and always offer fascinating views of the lake. Along the shore of the Müritz I find numerous beautiful bathing spots. Whether sandy beaches, bathing jetties or sunbathing lawns - there is something for everyone. The clear water of the Müritz invites you to swim and relax. The variety ranges from dog beaches and nudist areas to family-friendly shores with shallow water. In Waren, one of the picturesque towns on the banks of the Müritz, it is worth visiting the old town and taking a stroll through the alleys. The restaurants at the harbor offer something for every taste and are a popular meeting place to end the day.

The cycle paths here are a dream for every cyclist. They wind through dense forests, over rolling hills and along sparkling lakes. It's a peaceful cycle where I only hear the crunch of the tires on the sandy surface and the chirping of the birds. I discover that the paths are well developed and suitable for every type of bike. Every now and then the surface becomes a little sandier, which requires a safer driving style, but that's exactly what makes this route so attractive. It's a bit of an adventure maneuvering through the natural nature of the paths. On the way I pass various rest areas that are perfect for taking a break and taking in the nature around me. I enjoy the silence, broken only by the gentle rustling of the wind and the distant rippling of a lake. What I particularly remember is the untouched beauty of the landscape. All around me is pure nature - forests that stretch to the horizon and clear lakes that shine like mirrors in the sun. I watch ospreys in the sky and cranes in the wet meadows.

Pure nature, very beautiful to look at, and a well-developed cycle path. Overall, a beautiful section of this route. An ideal place to experience the tranquility of the national park – far from the hustle and bustle and yet very close to nature. The path gently curves through dense beech and pine forests, past moss-covered forest floors and small clearings where deer and cranes can often be seen. Magnificent views of Lake Feisneck, whose waters glitter silvery in the sun, open up again and again between the trees. The shore remains mostly untouched – reeds line the shoreline, water lilies sway on the water, and with a little luck, you might spot sea eagles or ospreys circling above the lake. Several small rest areas with benches invite you to linger. This section is particularly atmospheric in the early morning when wisps of mist lie over the water, or in the late afternoon when warm light surrounds the trees.

The route along the shore is by far the nicer route through the national park. You should take the Käflingsberg tower with you and then drive along the shore. Water lily ponds, Müritz, Moore .. madness
