The restaurant with a view of the Lötschental valley has a service that takes some getting used to. You pay when you stick your fork into the apple strudel for the first bite. But that's not a problem, as the strudel and vanilla sauce are cold anyway.

The circular hike begins at the nostalgic Schynige Platte mountain station and leads towards Daube/Tuba, where you already have a great view of the two lakes and the Bernese Alps with Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. The trail then continues along a spectacular ridge path towards Oberberghorn, with the view becoming more and more magnificent with every step.

The Harder Kulm, Interlaken's "local mountain", offers you an incredible view of the surrounding lakes as well as the impressive Bernese Alps. This viewpoint on the western part of the Harder can be easily reached either by funicular or by hiking. As soon as you get to the top, a fascinating panorama awaits you. The funicular takes you from Interlaken to the Harder Kulm in just 10 minutes and you can visit the Two Lakes Bridge. From there you have a great view of Lake Thun and Lake Brienz as well as the peaks of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.
