The panoramic view of the Säntis massif in the direction of Bodnegg on the road near Billen is magnificent.

A fish ladder has been in operation at the Schomburg hydroelectric power plant on the Lower Argen River (Wangen im Allgäu) since September 2025. It was constructed as part of ecological measures to improve the river's connectivity. The facility provides fish passage both upstream and downstream at the power plant to ensure the Argen River remains passable for fish. These measures are related to the operation of the Schomburg small-scale power plant, which has undergone improved water flow and ecological adjustments through modernized technology (new turbines, control systems).

A very exposed viewpoint towards Lake Constance and the Alps, highly recommended.

Beautiful panorama. Here you can jump into the water or ride your own stand-up paddleboard. There's also a small playground.

Certainly one of the most photographed motifs in Ravensburg. The 36-meter-high Lower Gate, built in 1363, marks the western part of the old town.
